It all started with an attempt to make a kinetic sculpture made out if bicycle wheels rims. For this, some 10 wheels were disassembled, leaving me with a handful of hubs and many many spokes.

When I started playing with those parts, I soon find myself losing interest in the original idea, and investing more and more energy in the making of the jelly fish I started to make out of the hubs and spokes.

At the end, I had a few of those magic floating creatures, hung from the trees at the Kiezburn festival. Delicate and fragile light emitting jelly fish. Just as I imagined.
